Regional Airport VIC
Initial Survey/Scope of Works
Upon investigation and survey of the office block at an airport in regional Victoria, it was determined the building foundation had suffered from +30mm subsidence. A solution was required to rectify the issue, whilst minimising asset down time and disruption.
Proposed Solution
HMI RR40 polyurethane resin was specified, injected under foundation at up to depths of 2000mm dependant on quality of bearing strata. To ensure an aesthetically pleasing result, the articulation joints in brickwork had to be closed and re-sealed, allowing a +-2mm tolerance as the criteria for success. Asset downtime/reduced functionality of -8 hours
Outcome
Upon completion, the office block was within required tolerances, articulation joints were closed and sealed, all services tested (gas/water/grey water/black water) and returned to full operational service Asset downtime 6 hours Client is available for reference, please contact Slab Jack Industries for details
